Electric Fender vibe in an affordable, quality acoustic. The Fender Sonoran S acoustic guitar represents a reintroduction of the California Series acoustics. These guitars were originally made from 1969 to 1971 and have gained attention in recent years for their very electric-like V-neck playability and cool vibe thanks to a Strat-style headstock. The Sonoran S has those features plus an updated dreadnought-shape body with solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard. It also has a checkerboard soundhole rosette, the original rosewood bridge design, and chrome die-cast tuners.
